Why OFW Europe Exists
Every year, hundreds of thousands of Filipinos make the courageous decision to work in Europe—leaving behind families, familiar surroundings, and comfort zones to build better futures. They become nurses in London, caregivers in Italy, engineers in Germany, hospitality professionals in Spain, and so much more.
But the journey isn’t always easy. Navigating foreign healthcare systems, understanding legal rights in a different language, finding trusted financial services, knowing which embassy to contact in an emergency—these challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re far from home.
OFW Europe was created to bridge that gap. We recognized that while there’s abundant information scattered across government websites, social media groups, and word-of-mouth networks, there was no single, comprehensive, trusted resource specifically designed for Filipinos working across the diverse landscape of Europe.
We’re not a government agency, though we work to present official information clearly and accurately. We’re not a recruitment agency—we’re here to support OFWs already in Europe. We’re a dedicated resource hub, built by people who understand the OFW experience, for people living it every day.
